Past Due Policy
Gilark Water System, Inc. is committed to a policy that encourages timely payment and provides ample opportunity to maintain an account in good standing Due Dates Full payment is due by the 10th of month, as given on the bill. All accounts are billed monthly. It is your responsibility to ensure that payment is received by the due date. Past Due Payments If full payment is not received by the due date, the account is assessed a late payment fee of 10% of the balance due. Service Disconnection If full payment is not received by 10 days after the due date, it WILL schedule you for cutoff. A $50 disconnection/reconnection charge will be assessed to your account. That’s our real cost for sending a person in a vehicle to your service address. When service has been disconnected for nonpayment, the account must be paid in full before service is restored. It can take up to 48 hours for service to be restored after payment has been made. |
